The International Symposium on Uveitis (ISU) 2026 brought together leading clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals from around the world in Tübingen, Germany, from 9–11 July 2026, to discuss the latest advances in the understanding and treatment of uveitis.
The TOFU Registry was proud to participate in this important international meeting and present new findings on behalf of the TOFU Study Group, highlighting the value of collaborative, real-world clinical data in improving care for people living with non-infectious, non-anterior uveitis.
During the scientific programme, Prof. Dr. Robert Finger, PhD presented "Outcomes of Non-Infectious Uveitis in Patients from Uveitis Registries", demonstrating how registry data can enhance our understanding of disease outcomes and support evidence-based patient care. Prof. Dr. Carsten Heinz presented "Uveitis Activity and Visual Acuity After the First Year – A TOFU Registry Report", sharing insights into fluctuating disease activity and visual outcomes during the first year of follow-up in the TOFU registry.
These presentations underscore the importance of international collaboration and high-quality registry data in advancing research, improving treatment strategies, and ultimately enhancing the lives of people affected by uveitis. By bringing together data from routine clinical practice, the TOFU Registry helps generate knowledge that complements clinical trials and supports better care for patients worldwide.
